Which products would you like to find with us in the future?

We are considering expanding our products and offering smaller product packages in the future, such as an iron check. For this we need your opinion!

You would be incredibly helpful if you would briefly fill out the three questions below. Thank you very much!

Why can it be useful to determine certain blood values individually or in smaller combinations?

Iron Check

There are many people who have already been diagnosed with iron deficiency. There are many possible causes: chronic blood loss, heavy menstrual bleeding, impaired iron absorption or insufficient intake of iron. Since iron deficiency can occur more frequently during life, it is worth checking the iron level at regular intervals. That way, you’ll know early on if your iron levels are dropping and can act quickly.

Fat metabolism check

During a lipid metabolism check, we take a closer look at cholesterol levels. Due to our diet, cholesterol is elevated in a large portion of the population, leading to a higher risk of cardiovascular disease in the long term. These values are on the one hand genetically influenced, but can also be positively influenced by a healthy lifestyle. If you want to keep an eye on your cholesterol, a lipid metabolism check might be right for you.

Fatigue Check

Persistent fatigue can have many different causes. In each case, it is worth making sure that there is no nutrient deficiency behind it. Iron deficiency and vitamin D3 deficiency are common in the population. Both can cause us to feel sluggish and unable to perform. So in a fatigue check, we would determine your iron and vitamin D3 levels and identify or rule out these two levels as possible causes.

Vitamin B12 & Folic Acid Check

Especially if you avoid animal products in your diet, or only consume them in small amounts, you should regularly check your vitamin B12. Since folic acid (vitamin B9) and vitamin B12 support each other in their tasks, it makes sense to always check these values in duplicate.

Liver Check

The liver helps us detoxify and is the central metabolic organ of the body. It also stores various nutrients. It is possible that one or more of your liver values are too high. Possible reasons for this can be medication, alcohol consumption or infections. This does not have to mean a direct health risk. However, a follow-up check is worthwhile in case of deviations. Values that remain elevated over a longer period of time should be clarified by a physician.

Kidney Check

The kidneys also perform important tasks in our body. For example, they regulate our fluid or acid-base balance. They are also responsible for the elimination of waste products from our metabolism. They also have an important influence on blood pressure regulation. A check of kidney values can provide insight into overall health.

Thyroid check

The thyroid gland secretes hormones and regulates many of our bodily functions. When the thyroid gland secretes too few hormones, it is called hypothyroidism. This can lead, for example, to a slower metabolism or fatigue.

If it secretes too many hormones, this is called hyperthyroidism. Symptoms may include weight loss or nervousness.

We have only a limited influence on this hormonal supply (e.g. through an adequate iodine supply). If the thyroid values are outside the normal range, this should be clarified by a doctor.
